Product Description

The Oreck Commercial OR1006 Premier backpack vacuum has a 1,175-watt Ametek motor, a 4-foot vacuum hose, and a shoulder strap and a waist belt for portability. This backpack vacuum is more portable than typical canister or upright vacuums and allows the user to move around more quickly. It delivers up to 120 cubic feet per minute of air flow and up to 120 inches of water lift, which is a measure of suction. (The higher the lift, the greater the suction.) The motor has a built-in heat sensor to help protect the motor if the vacuum bag is full. A twist-off lid helps facilitate emptying. A wand and a 4-foot vacuum hose with swivel cuffs help facilitate cleaning overhead vents, ceiling fans, and other high places. A power nozzle hookup allows the user to reach the on/off switch while wearing the backpack. A 50-foot power cord enables the vacuum to cover a larger area without changing outlets than vacuums with shorter cords. This product meets U.S. Department of Energy Standard 3020 for High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters, which remove at least 99.97 percent of airborne particles that are 0.3 micrometers or greater in diameter. The vacuum measures 22" high, weighs 9.5 pounds, and has a capacity of 6 quarts. It includes an eight-piece tool kit for different cleaning tasks.
